I know this is old, but do you think it is pertinent?

Oh I thought this was a question about me.

I have read this and thought how wonderful it is to have another country think that way of us.  Of course, that was when we could hold our heads up because we were the beacon of freedom to the oppressed.  Now, in some ways, we are the oppressor and I'm not so proud of how we are conducting ourselves as a nation.
