In religion the intelligent ones have been controlling the stupid ones since the day it was invented, by offering a little support in the form of promises that will never be fulfilled in return for their money and total submission.
Thank you for your reply Master C and Happy Wednesday to thee. By limiting it to religion as you have chosen to do you dilute the effectiveness because it seems to be an anti-religion view entirely. There are very many folks who would agree with you and very many who wouldn't. But on a larger scale of reality and life isn't politics all about that and business too? In fact any profession or group you can name? I'm surprised at the limitation you imposed but I expect you have your reasons. :(
You had better believe I have my reasons, yes you are right to a certain extent re. politics and business but even then both of these actually have to produce results at the end of the day and PAY TAXES, have you ever asked yourself why religions are tax free, perhaps you think it is because of the so called good work they do, when it is actually the churches wielding power over the governments, as the first government to take that away will be put out of power and the first one to bring it in used it to bribe the sheep with via their shepherd's pulpits to get into power in the first place. I do not think that you will find many indoctrinating their children into a multinational or a political party, for true child abuse like brainwashing you need religion.
