What is your least favorite movie genre?

For me, it's horror. If I want to see something crazy and scary, I'll look in the mirror.

I cannot stand Romance movies.  Ugh.  Boring and ridiculous.

Not big on homemade snuff films either.

Ditto. I'm beginning to realize from people's answers that there aren't many genres of movies I do like.   ;-)

Exactly, which is why I don't think I've been to the movies since I saw Ted.

Think I'm down to really good dramas and documentaries, many of which only show up at our local art house theater. And the occasional crowd favorite when it arrives at our two dollar theater. Wow I'm old. And cheap.   ;-)

I'm not convinced that there's been a really good drama in a long time.  I don't even know how much a movie ticket is these days, but I know it's more than $10, although a senior might be less.

This is probably the last really good one I saw in a theater. I know it's the age of Netflix, but some movies are better to see on a big screen.

It was excellent. Wish more interesting stories like this were being made into movies.

It looked good in the promos, but I never got around to seeing it.

  • Cheesy romantic dramas and pretty much most musicals.

    You hate horror movies?

There are wonderful horror movies.  They are very few and far between.

But what you are defining are more like slasher movies which are the WORST things ever.

Those and those Japanese Monster things that make no sense at all after you reach the age of 6.

  • Which genre is my least favorite?

I probably don't watch as many new horror movies or old western movies and I've never watched Anime either.
I kinda have the same mindset that there's too much horror and suffering in the world already so the movies don't interest me much.
When I was young I definitely watched Jason and Freddie movies though, but I've kind of lost interest now.
I watch mostly comedy, action, drama and more independent type of movies.

Musicals, children's movies, toilet "humor", anything that glorifies alcohol consumption or illegal drug use, anything with vampires and\or zombies, romantic comedies, tear-jerking chick flicks, and anything featuring street-racing in souped-up vehicles.
