I loathe the thought of jail so much, I don't even like thinking about it.  So, why did I ask this?  I am a masochist, I  guess.

I agree.  It's a nightmare.....being accused and convicted of something I did not do and having my life taken away from me.  What could be worse?

Living in close proximity to more than one creep is what I couldn't endure more than anything else.  The population is the biggest punishment to me.

  • Well it's not a very happy song, but jail is a very sad place.
I used to be a guard at one years ago.

  • Nice ... Country singers are more than willing to sing about the hard times as well as the good.

  • I agree.
I listen to all kinds of music, but I have a certain respect for old Alan Jackson songs.
He's quite talented and brilliant I think. : ) This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at September 7, 2017 11:27 PM MDT

  • When Garth Brooks came on the scene, I stopped following Country music as closely as I had been.
Country music became a victim of progress just like Rock & Roll did in the late 60's.  Not that either change was all bad.
Like you said ... Alan Jackson, Clint Black ... maybe more, still sing the more traditional style Country
and there was some Rock that wasn't terrible. :)
