Ever hear of FireEye? It is a cybersecurity company. Could cybersecurity have prevented the Russian sabotage of the US prez election?

Had they known about the pro-Trump Russian bots being created and the Russian trolling that was going on could a cybersecurity firm have put a firewall around the election and made it impenetrable from outside attack? Or is that an impossible dream?
