For those who believe in God, if you had proof that when you die there is no afterlife and there will only be oblivion,
would you still be a believer?


1. I think there ARE those who believe in God but do not believe in an afterlife anyway.

2. There can, just as a btw, never be "proof that when you die there is no afterlife"

3. It's not just a question of "if you had proof that when you die there is no afterlife" it has to be proof whose validity you fully accept.

4. Assuming [a] that the condition in #3 above is satisfied [it IS a proof whose validity you fully accept] and that the question "would you still be a believer?" is asking whether you would still be a believer in God [not an afterlife] then the answer could still be "yes". You could become the kind of believers referred to in #1

The fact that I am here in consciousness with the ability to think is the only proof I need that God exists.

If you were a drop of water in the ocean, how can you deny the Ocean exists?

Consciousness is awareness.  Awareness has not a face or a shape or a definition.  Awareness IS.  God IS.

So, if you were a drop in the ocean but you found out you were not water, would you still believe in the ocean?

It's an impossibility.  You cannot erase what you are.

We are all Christ Consciousness.  You cannot deny the consciousness.  Only the fact that you believe it ends and I do not. 

In space there is no up or down, there is no time, there is nothing we as humans are used to defining reality with.

Now take a larger leap and imagine what dimensions are found without the physical form to confine our soul's abilities?

There is no god or God other than ourselves.
