That's where Jim is right now Ele! At a golf Scramble. We live in a retirement community that has a 9-hole golf course on the premises. They go around twice so they get in 18 holes. They have a Scramble twice a month. He plays every Saturday with a friend. Tuesdays he plays tennis. Neither of those sports did he even care about when he was a kid. He LOVES golf. 3-4 times a week he walks down to the golf course (2 blocks away from home) and practices. He watches all the instruction shows and practices in the living room. I'm so happy that he has found such a passion. I mean he is going to be 82 soon. What other sport could a person of that age enjoy? He has a bad back and when he twists he gets twinges. But he works through it. Having a bad back AND a bad wrist? Bummer. Condolences. Thank you for your reply Ele. You played at the age of 13? In school?
Your right shoulder TOO? Wow. Are you in constant pain from all of them or just when you try to play? Thank you for your reply! So was y our stepfather a good guy? :)
I pretty much play every sport with my son now so it's like reliving my childhood sometimes. I get probably the strangest looks when I play on the playground equipment with my son and my niece, LoL! What? As a man I'm awesome at all the equipment now. Monkey bars, no problem. Swings, I can push the kids and then swing higher than them. The big spinning thing I can spin it really fast for all the kids and then just hang on to it with my legs out and spin around in circles with them. : ) I'm kind of a big kid sometimes, it's awesome exercise.
