I'm pretty sure that the service provider for your internet is the one you need to be concerned with. If your generator is able to power up your electricity for the computer that is one thing. You also have to hope and pray that the service provider is still able to service you. They may be floating down the river pretty soon.
Yes. I checked the Weather channel and it looks like Irma might be headed a little West, so we might only be getting a strong tropical storm. (winds 35 - 60 miles per hour) we boarded up the windows and have plenty of supplies and two huge generators. I just dont want to lose the internet. lol
I have no idea but I will definitely hope two things.. one, that you and yours will be ok and two, that you do still have internet so you can stay here with us :)
Most likely not, There will be a routing server near you that all your incoming and outgoing web traffic comes through. If it looses dower your internet is gone.
