Good ol' H. Clinton just claimed on a 60 Minutes interview that Ronald Reagan was her "favorite former predecessor" in reference to his presidency. A bit ahead of ourselves, aren't we?

Hil' was never an actress, did not EVER serve in the US Army, was not the governor of California and has never been a president of any country.

Reagan was never the first gentleman of Arkansas or of the US, never served as a US senator or the US Secretary of State.

Was that merely nervousness on her part, or just a whole lot of nerve?

    I'm really not surprised. She was a republican until she changed parties to "support her man". Smh!

    I'm sure that was the whole subject and the whole point of her meaning, Randy. INVOKING SARCASM WITH THAT REMARK.  JUST TO BE CLEAR.   I think she was trying to point out the positives.  Regan had a way of charming people when he spoke and never really hollered.  He had a modicum of grace and charm.

    She was paying the  man a compliment, I am sure.  I don't think she was trying to say that everything he did was something she did prior.  That is not even what predecessor means.

    You don't like her.  We get it;

    Did you see the interview? She was not being sarcastic, and even if that were the case, the comment isn't sarcastic nor can it be misconstrued as sarcasm. The comment was expressly about his presidency. Look, Hilary Clinton doesn't have any great penchant for humor, which is fine; no one is saying that she should. Like many modern-day public figures, she attempts the occasional joke or two, but in serious situations she is a serious, straightforward person.

    Tonight's interview was a serious matter, and she most likely misspoke. Even though her great ambition is to become president by hook or crook, she has not reached it yet. Much has been made about the way she inserts herself into the role as if she's either already there or as if it's her birthright to be there, or else heads will roll. Fine, she's entitled to think what she wants to think. To refer to a former president as her predecessor is inaccurate. Like her, dislike her, love her, don't love her, facts are still facts. Reagan was not and is not yet her predecessor.

    You like her, we get it. You sticking up for her, whether she's right OR wrong, is appropriate as part and parcel of her apparent mindset: "when I'm right I'm right and when I'm wrong I'm right too".

    I'm stoked, I must applaud HRC. for saying something not to many liberals will admit, that Reagan was a 'great prez'. Hillary unfortunately can only aspire to be like him, she's not even in the same ball park.

    Randy, you hit it right on.  She actually thinks she's entitled to the presidency, socialist behavior for sure. Queen Hillary, lol.

    SA, She's been known to jump on any band wagon to enhance her career, especially when it comes to money.
