What U.S city should get AMAZON's 2nd headquarters and with it 35,000 or more jobs?

Detroit could use a boost.

    Missouri could use it. Or S. IL.
    And are in center of country so better shipping across country.

    If not the Houston after they rebuild from Harvey.

  • Detroit probably won't get it because it's not seen as a good investment. Detroit with its shrinking job market and declining population is a place companies will stay away from (and thus only ensuring that Detroit won't improve). It's a vicious cycle.

    I could see somewhere like Denver or Austin getting it.

    My vote is for a city in Ohio.. simply because I have friends there and have visited there so have a fondness for Ohio.

    The Washington, DC area. Northern Virginia would be best due to the  business-oppressive taxing structures of Maryland and DC.
