Why does Mexico like immigration into the U.S. so much? Shouldn't they be trying to fix their own country?

And encourage people to want to stay there? If your country sucks, is sending everyone to a better country a good solution?

    Because most of their economy is based on thier people sending money back to Mexico. Last year nearly $25,000,000,000 (Billions) was sent inyo Mexico via workers in other countries (most in the USA) that is more money than they got for thier oil exports.

    Like my2cents said ... also, much of that money goes to corrupt officials so there is very little government incentive to "clean up" their country.  Well, except to get rid of drug cartels - which is really just due to getting rid of competition.
