As waiters go are you very patient or very im? How do you occupy yourself as you wait and wait and wait and wait? Do you get annoyed?

What is the longest you have ever had to wait for your SCHEDULED appointment? Once upon a time long ago Jim had to wait to see his doctor for TWO AND ONE-HALF HOURS for his SCHEDULED appointment. There was no emergency. The doc was just overbooked. He is no longer Jim's doctor. What is your horror story?

I have been very fortunate that the doctors I'm using these days are relatively prompt.  There was a time when I used a gynecologist who always kept me waiting at least 45 minutes.  I would leave work early, get on the railroad to make my appointment on time, then sit and wait.  After a couple of visits like that, I changed doctors.  The one I use now takes me within 15 minutes of my appointment, which is perfectly acceptable.

Any time the wait is just 15 minutes we consider ourselves to be VERY lucky Spunky. We have even been seen EARLIER a few times.  We hate to be late so we usually arrive early and bring things to read. Maybe half an hour ahead of appointment time. More than once we were seen and done and out the door BEFORE our appointment time even arrived. Sometimes there are last-minute cancellations and if you're there bingo! They see you! Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! :)

Hahahahahahahahahaha! You m'dear are in rare form today. I believe I understand why. One can only be serious for long vis a vis Doofus Donny and then laughter becomes an excellent tonic to revive one's spirits! Thank you for your reply JakobA and the laugh! I see your halo loud and clear. :) We are popcorn fans too. I favor the "white cheddar" flavor and Jim prefers the regular salty kind. We've never stuffed a single popped piece of corn up our noses though. If I can figure out a reason to try it I just might. What if gets stuck though? What if you inhale it and swallow it? Ewww! Icky yuck! :(
