How many traffic citations (tickets) have you had? I have had three.

    I have never recieved a ticket for a moving violation.  
    I have gotten 3 seat belt tickets,  1 ticket for the light on my plate being out. 

    It pays to be nice and respectful to an officer. Especially if you were speeding.

    Are you saying you got out of speeding and/or other moving violations by being nice?  Why did nice not work on the seat belt violations? Not ever receiving a ticket for a moving violation even though committing them as we all do can be attributed to skill, luck, lack of enforcement and/or privilege as well as just being nice and respectful.     Not many.  I don't get citations very often.   But I have gotten a few in my years on the road.

    I don't know.  I got one recently and that was after about 15 years.

    One for speeding. One for illegal turn (fought and won in court.) One for taillight out (dismissed after repair.)
    One for driving naked (dismissed after judge got nauseous looking at photos.)

    Only one in 55 years of driving. Speeding in holiday destination that I had on driven once 30 years before because wife wanted the toilet after we were nearly out of the village.

    Polis were nice enough but I rather missed the chance they gave me to put my case for the defence. Might not have made any difference. 

     Not counting a parking ticket at the vet's.

  • Zero. Been driving for 9 years. Never had a parking ticket or a moving violation or anything.

    1)  Illegal U-turn (car)
    2)  Stopped for being a burglary suspect ... got a speeding ticket instead. (motorcycle)
    3)  Illegal window tinting. (van)
    4)  Over-weight ticket  (Big Rig)
