    That would depend on if you view him as a "bad guy", due to fighting for NAZI Germany.
    Personally, I think it's a stretch to list Mongomery ... since the Allies (especially Britain) messing with boundary lines in the MidEast pretty much caused all the problems we have in that region, today.

    Rommel wasn't a bad guy, just a professional soldier doing his job. He hated the nazi war crimes and participated in a plot to murder hitler. If he had been on our side he would have been a great asset.
