Pols and Politics. ILLOGICAL. Do you care?

We spend BILLIONS on beefing up the military to protect the American people so they don't die. We take away medical insurance and  tell them they're on their own and some will die because of it. Please tell me how that makes any sense at all if you can. Can you?

    Military spending is definitely too high in the U.S. and the taxpayer gets very poor value for money because of the all the corrupt special interests. It needs to be fixed.

    However, military spending IN PRINCIPLE is beneficial to EVERYONE in society. It creates security for EVERYONE by killing / intimidating our enemies. The purpose of the military is not to prevent people dying. If all we wanted was to live, we could just unconditionally surrender to our enemies and let them take us over. The U.S. military exists to defend the culture of liberty and capitalism. It is fully conscious of the fact that this COSTS lives but that is better than being ruled by scum. Only slaves think staying alive is the most important thing. Free people are ready to die.

    Socialized healthcare is not beneficial to EVERYONE in society. It benefits the poor at the expense of the middle class who receive absolutely no return on their tax contribution. It is a direct transfer of wealth from those who produce to those who don't. It violates property rights and is morally unacceptable. Healthcare costs money and none of us have a right to other people's money. Receiving charity is a blessing to be received with gratitude not entitlement.
