I'd never do that. I have exemplary credit. I would not want to end up a deadbeat who stiffs folks like the Donald John is well-know for doing because if I maxed out my credit cards I would have no way to repay it just in case the world did not end. I was hoping for something inventive/creative/imaginative from you Ele.  Not the usual crap. I can do that on my own all alone. I don't need others. Here's what I'd do. I'd cook our favorite meal.  Dine on the finest  food available and then when the world ended I'd die with a very happy palate having been satisfied. My tummy would be thanking me. I expect it would bring us great joy. Different strokes. Thank you for your non-reply.

2017. If it were 2018 or 2019 or 2020 it would not be in the news so urgently with such immediacy and dread Durdle. Getting upset about something that isn't going to happen for a year would be worthless. People do not retain information like that. It would be completely wasted, fall on deaf ears and have to be repeated next year in September. Short memory is what afflicts humankind. In one ear out the other with never a stop overnight. Now you see it now you don't. If you blink you miss it entirely. You have two days to prepare to meet your maker. I'm not sure of the exact time however so your plans should be flexible. Well, by "you" I did mean your source. Who exactly has predicted it and how come it seems not to have appeared in any official warnings or bulletins, the Press, etc?

I take your point about people not retaining information though. Perhaps that is a response to the non-stop flood of news and supposed "information" - of which a lot isn't.

It's all over the news here in the states Durdle. It is yet another Christian group predicting it. Dire warnings. The Rapture will follow. Yadayadayadayadayada. Anyway I would spend time in the kitchen preparing our favorite meal and then we would sit and eat it. I think you should do something you enjoy and go out like that.
