Given that DWS's main function within the Democratic Party was to raise huge amounts of money (mostly from the Rich and Corporate), she was almost by definition "corrupt." Perhaps not in a legal sense, but I think almost certainly in a moral sense.
On the other hand, the American people have shown for decades they prefer partisan political advantage to reforming The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, so one can argue DWS was working the system exactly as the American people wanted her to.
