    Whoa.  What is THIS about?

    Is Trump tweeting again?

He sure knows how to pick a battle, doesn't he?   I mean this is so much more important than cleaning up Houston or South Florida.

Kneel or stand.  That is the question.

You can't equate the two.  Standing for the national anthem is showing respect for your country.  I don't subscribe to my country right or wrong, I believe in my country even when it's wrong.  In the latter case, it means that I have the freedom to correct that which I believe is wrong or unjust.

Taking a knee or sitting for the anthem in protest of social injustice is one's right, but doing it on the field is an inappropriate venue.  If you want to protest, do it on your own time, not when people are almost forced to watch you if they're watching the game.  Doing it at game time not only disrespects your country, it disrespects the team.  Your country's politics have no place on the playing field.
