Sexual intercourse in marriage is a mutual celebration. Whether you are male or female, you have to develop to that point before it can happen between equals and be mutual.
In that case, hearts, minds, and bodies reach out toward one another---it's amazing.
It can happen occasionally when you are not married, but then it lacks something. (Or yeah, at the moment it's hard to tell the difference. Some know what I am talking about, others haven't experienced that yet.)
Interesting---a psychologist will tell you rape is about power, not sex.
But there is some question as to whether Oscar Wilde knew much enough about women to say anything intelligent about them.
Wilde had the Marquess of Queensberry prosecuted for criminal libel. The Marquess was the father of Wilde's lover, Lord Alfred Douglas. The libel trial unearthed evidence that caused Wilde to drop his charges and led to his own arrest and trial for gross indecency with men. After two more trials he was convicted and imprisoned for two years' hard labour, the maximum penalty.

I agree and disagree because I did turn into lovesick puppy dog when I wanted sex, but I also just like being close to a woman. I like to joke around with them, I like to look at them, I like how their hair smells and I like to hold them. I like companionship, I like to be needed, I like to be loved as well.
As for women giving sex to get love. We went through a lot of different phases in our marriage. Sometimes we were having a lot of sex and other times for whatever reason we weren't and I still loved her for sure.
Like I said I was a lovesick puppy dog when I WASN'T getting any so I think she knew to not put out if she wanted more attention from me, but she also knew I would never cheat so that strategy only works if you have a faithful partner. When I stopped sleeping with her in the hopes that she'd try harder in our relationship she just started cheating. So none of these games are any good and it's a little more complicated than to just say men give love for sex and women give sex for love. In my opinion anyway. Thanks.
