I watched director Michael Haneke's original 1997 "Funny Games" (not the American remake Haneke made a couple of years later) - - it remains THE most DISTURBING movie I've ever seen!! But I find it a MASTERPIECE of a film! Wow!
And I watched the original "Cloverfield" movie in the big theater without knwoing anything about what it was about -- it TERRIFIED the living daylights out of me!! But, I find that movie a masterpiece of a movie, too.
So, I'm glad I watched both movies but they both tore me apart. :)

I hadn't though about movies as an answer but yeah!! Thanks ..I've watched some weird movies out of curiosity... FYI never watch nocturnal animals cos it's bullshite :) im putting Cloverfeild on my list of movies to watch then :)
I should add - -- I seem to be the only human on Earth that was TERRIFIED at "Cloverfield." No one whom I know reacted to it as I did. But I still know it scared me to death so much that I stopped watching movies of any kind for two and a half years. Really! :)
lol :) that makes me want to see it more .. have you seen remake of IT yet? I'm going see it Friday afternoon... playing bookie with some friends from work for afternoon get scared... hopefully scared ;)
That sounds scary to me, too! I don't plan on seeing it but maybe I should. I loved the first TV movie with Tim Curry as Pennywise. And I liked the book.
I know I watched the first on television when i was young :) i don't go for theatre often for movie, this one I really wanna see in theatre.. I love being scared though :)
Yeah, I tend to like scary movies, too. And even though you probably know this already, that first original "IT" movie was a made-specifically-for-TV movie. It never was shown in big theaters. Unless, due to its popularity on TV, they may have released it in theaters, too -- sometimes they do that, I think. :)
No, I did not know was made for television movie :) I remember it was on television for a few days and I tried to watch bits of it when I was allowed to.... I thought was just released to television after theatre though. I didn't get to see much of it cos I hade to go for bed by 9pm and that wasn't really fair for me.
