It sure would be nice if you could.  Even I would like to say, "I'll have to ask the maid."  WAIT!!!  I AM The Maid!! Winks and Smiles ;)

Learning to properly fold fitted sheets helps save A LOT of space!

This is very informative and a good thing to know.  For years I've wondered and fumbled with this simple process. Seriously!
The burning question still remains.  Do you actually practice this lesson?

Yes, it probably does.  I just dump them on the closet floor.

    That's just not a problem I've encountered.

I don't own more linens that I actually use or have room for.  If your shelves are overloaded, you may need to think about paring down.

    Linen closet?
    haha what's that?
    In my closet
    nothing is hanging
a four drawer thing that has everything
and the folded blankets and the sheets
that I sleep with are folded on top.
    Sleep on a futon
    so blankets and sheets
    are a daily makeup...

I do have a problem with this.  The linen closet also holds the towels and we have an abundance of both.
Martha Stewart came up with an idea that I have tried.
She suggests you simply put the top and fitted sheet inside a pillow case.  The other pillow cases as well.
It is simple and keeps sets with matched sets.
All is good with this idea but one thing.  It leaves your linens wrinkled.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm not narcotic and iron my sheets.  I do, however, like them to look nice.  The bed is the biggest item in the room and draws the most attention. If it looks frumpy the whole room does.
I'm not faithful to this idea but have found if you fold the top sheet and pillowcases and don't bother with the fitted sheet, it saves room and time.
    Just a thought. :)
Our towels... Well, those are another beast all within themselves.  :) This post was edited by Merlin at September 28, 2017 5:04 PM MDT

No tricks.  When it's full, I use another closet.  I have lots of closets.  Which means, I have lots of crap.

Try not to think of it as crap, Harry.  Think of all the exercise you get while folding them properly every time you use them.  You might have to start changing them every week at least.
You won't need a gym membership.  You'll have a "Shaping while Sheets Folding" class once a week at your house... folding your sheets!
You can start a new trend.  How to stay in shape while doing Harry's housework!
People will pay to come and fold your sheets and stay in shape!
Think of the possibilities ! :)
Your lawn mowed.. Your trees trimmed...
All because of your endless supply of sheets :D This post was edited by Merlin at September 30, 2017 7:47 PM MDT
