What do you do when you are bored and those around you are still actively engaged? Feign interest, tell the truth, leave? Why?

Oh you wouldn't do that Glis. You just wouldn't. At least I'm pretty sure you wouldn't. I mean how would you react if they told you that? Not too well. I don't suffer in silence easily. I'd probably make up some reason to leave and I would leave. Now if possible I'd actually do what I said I was going to do. Return a library book or pick up something at the drugstore or just in general say you have other things you should be doing. That is always true.  Why should I suffer ? But why should I go out of my way to insult/hurt them? I usually speak up but in a case like that silence would be the best option. I mean whatever excuse you make up wouldn't have to be a lie. Just try to say something that would actually be true and that way you wouldn't lie and you also wouldn't die slowly from boredom. Just a thought. Nah,  I probably wouldn't.  Well yeah  I would if it was a close friend who I bust balls with.
