    I'd say it's 2 to 1 in favor of thinking it.  Although I don't have a filter and piss poor recognition of what's appropriate or not, I've finally learned to recognize some situations where I need to keep my big mouth shut.  Like, when someone bigger than me is extremely angry.

    I want to avoid confrontation.  If someone is being mean to me, I don't speak up, I'll keep quiet.
