A soul. A heart. A mind. What is it worth? A president without any of them? What is HE worth?

    Along with honesty, integrity, morality, decency. So sad and disappointing that so many found those to be nonessential qualities in their leader.

    I am in total agreement but in fairness the electorate had very few options given that Clinton is not exactly renowned for her honesty, integrity, morality or decency either.

    Absolutely right, although he did take things to a new and really disgusting level. Just about any other candidate probably would have beaten Trump. But all things being somewhat equal in terms of personal failings, I still hoped her vast experience versus his utter ignorance and inexperience in politics and government would have won her the election. Unfortunately people saw that as a virtue on his part and now we're paying the price for that.

    ((hugs)) Pardon the impertinence of the hug but you NAILED IT. That is a question I live with 24/7 and will never ever ever ever stop asking. Is there an answer? If so I'd sure appreciate your telling me because as it is this entire nightmare makes no sense at all. It was bad enough that he was a candidate! Bad enough that he was the Republican choice. Bad enough that he was elected prez. But by whom was he elected? Russia?  Gullible dupes who believed all the lies promulgated via internet fakes? AARRGGHH! I CAHN"T STEND IT! I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Impeachment.  Criminal charges. There is by now a plethora of them and I wonder when oh when oh when will justice be served?     Thank you m'dear. I shall remember that and I appreciate it a lot! :) Switching subjects. I just learned that both Ivanka and Jared are being investigated for their email accounts. After the stink The Donald John raised about Hillary's I think it is hilarious that his "kids" are on the hot seat for theirs. Oh the irony of it! SIGH. :(

    Is this an example of the 'bigly stuff'?
    I see the sharing caring church is living up to its well earned reputation.

    Extract from an article in today's London Daily Telegraph.

    Mr Trump visited the affluent district of Guaynabo, telling a family who showed him their damaged home to “have a good time”, before heading to a community centre distributing aid, where he tossed rolls of toilet paper into the crowd.

    Puerto Rican radio talk shows were dominated by discussion of Mr Trump's throwing of paper towels. Some called it humiliating and insulting, watching people bussed in from shelters having lost their homes leap for toilet paper.

    But those inside the church thought it was fun. "It was really entertaining," said Benjamin Rodríguez, 24, a youth leader at the church. Natisa Marrero, 28, an administrator at the church, added: "He's a character. It's just who he is. Everyone thought it was funny. And anyway, he was only here for a few minutes."

    Can you imagine how degrading it must have been for those homeless people to have to perform like that simply to give don a photo-shoot opportunity as the church officials laughed at them while pretending that the church was doing a damned thing to help, the homeless people were not living in the church, they were bused in just for don's pics and the church used for scenery. So yes I can easily imagine the horror of receiving toilet paper thrown by a buffoon when the many hundreds of thousands of dollars spent getting the buffoon and is entourage there and back could have been spent on healthcare/medicines/clean drinking water etc. without insulting the victims in the process.
