Can you name a food item that used to be considered inedible for humans but is now considered a delicacy? ~

Lobster.. when I was young, it was thrown on the docks, good only for fertilizer or for those who could not afford good food.  It was so shameful to have to take lobster sandwiches to school. (Never admitted to anyone what was in the lunch bag)
