Good question. If, as the countries involved in the treaty agree that Iran has complied with what it is supposed to do, removing ourselves from the treaty would be a bad thing. Trump believes Iran has violated the spirit of the treaty. If you want to embody the spirit of an agreement, it should be committed to words. Diane Feinstein appeared on Face the Nation this morning and her take on it is that, if the U.S. enters into an agreement and then unilaterally backs out when all parties are in compliance, it sends the message that we are not as good as our word and are not to be trusted. I believe she is right in that respect.
I do too. I read the other significant players all agree that Iran IS IN COMPLIANCE so we are on a limb and prez is sawing off. How swell is that? I'm gonna ask the question Spunky! Thank you for your reply! :)
You are too modest Spunky. You are accomplishing something while on Answermug according to me and others too I betcha! You engage in nifty conversations. That is not nothing. That is something. My two cents' worth. Thank you for your reply!
Don't you multi-task Spunky?. That's all I do when I'm on Answermug. I cook, clean, do the laundry, vacuum, pay bills, take my shower, etcetera etcetera etcetera. I don't just sit here for hours at a time doing only this one thing. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday. I betcha you multitask too don't you ?
Different strokes. This morning I washed, trimmed, refrigerated all the veggies I bought yesterday. Took out the trash (today is trash pickup day). Took a shower. Am planning what to fix for lunch/dinner as I sit here. Jim plays tennis today and then has a meeting to attend thereafter so I'm gonna be on my own for a few hours. Thank you for the info Spunky and Happy Thursday! :)
