It's better to carry a big stick and never need to use it. (that's a Teddy Roosevelt / B.H.Wilson hybridized comment) I live in an area where vacation homes and pleasure boats run rampant. The rich folks come to play here. My brother-in-law works on boats for a living, so it is beneficial for his family to have a decent job. Even if the boat owners leave the boat sitting all summer, his company makes money for storage over winter and dock fees and that totals into big bucks. There are THOUSANDS employed along the shore. Then you have the Vacation homes industry -----------
Got it m'dear. Let 'em buy stuff and store stuff and never use the stuf and who cares if the stuff just sits there unused? It provides employment and puts food on the table for lotsa folks. I can see the logic in that. I just hate waste. Thank you for your reply bh! :)
