I'm a fan, I even write it properly - smörgåsbord. A little of everything, unless it's something I really can't stand. Variety is the spice of life. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at October 11, 2017 9:48 PM MDT

Me too. My problem is I take too much. I should just take a tiny bit of everything to see if I like it first. I don't.  Jim says I have a problem with proportion..being able to visualize how much my stomach will hold. I think that's true. I think it's a spatial visualization in general problem.  I took an aptitude test once long ago and the two things on which I scored the lowest was spatial visualization and being a social worker. Embarrassingly low on both.  So my excuse is "I can't help it"! I can get lost in a neighborhood I know if I'm not paying attention. Depending on the direction I'm going it can look different.  AARRGGHH! :( Thank you for your reply Sbf.

As my mother used to say..."Your eyes are bigger than your stomach."

I'll eat anything not fried or stuff I don't like.

I won't try something that doesn't look appealing and I seldom fry anything at home. I do braise food in butter but filling a pot with oil, bringing to a boil and frying stuff in it? I don't remember the last time I did that but it's been years. I do like fried chicken which I never make. We will do take out and PROVIDING it isn't greasy I enjoy it. Thank you for your reply Ele and Happy Tuesday.

Hey Rosie! Have you tried the KFC buffet in Elsinore?
I haven't been there in years, but it was really good when I did go.
I wish they would open one up around here.

Love buffets.  I eat it if I like it. We go to Golden Corral on a regular basis. They are the best on around here. We have a large family and many picky eaters to a buffet just works better....pick what you want.

And yet you swim in a public pool. At least the buffet has a sneeze guard.
