  • On logic,
you'd have to have the high IQ in the first place
before you could do anything with it -
so it has to be the most important -
but then, if its not used,
    it has no importance whatsoever.

Have chatted with people high up in mensa
who've told me that having the IQ
does not determine the choices people make.
    Many live very modest lives;
they don't become or do anything special with their talents.

    Circular Circulation - lyrics

    Muddy Goppup standing there
    Roses held by him
Stopped to catch Kee Lee Da Da Do
But the circle would not permit it

    This circular circulation
    I circle continuously
    To prepare myself for memories
And have a talk with me

A mighty burst Muddy Goppup had
To cure him of this fever
The sun came on, the chord came off
    His seat became the lever

So what was one to do right then
    At fourteen minutes after
I shook his hand, explained the plan
And set stone walls to laughter

Was at this time the power ceased
    Yellow darts were flying
A gentle bum rose from the street
    Upon which he was lying

    This circular circulation
    I circle continuously
    To prepare myself for memories
And have a talk with me

It serves you right, Mr. Goppup screamed
    Four signs on his window
To let another make your dreams
For the rest of you to show

Can't think for the life of me
    Pounds, Do Da Kee Lee
More different than before the start
    You cheated and pretended too.

Was at this time the power ceased
    Yellow darts were flying
A gentle bum rose from the street
    Upon which he was lying

    This circular circulation
    I circle continuously
    To prepare myself for memories
And have a talk with me

That's the point.  Not that you're an idiot.  That circular arguments make no sense.

They were a group of total burnouts from the 60's   They made no sense at all.

I know some people who aren't very bright but are very hard workers and are productive, helpful members of society. So having a high IQ doesn't automatically make someone more worthy or whatever, especially if they just sit around bragging about their IQ but don't do anything with it.

I stated a fact. Then I stated an opinion. I wasn't talking to you. You entered a conversation uninvited because you didn't like what I said to Patch.  Yes. I brought up Trump. I shall so do again. It is who I am. I thought you knew. My mistake.

No, no you didn't. You started out with a question, then you followed that with another question, and then followed that second question with yet a third question. But ALL those questions would be considered th be "leading the witness" back to Trump.

I dislike the term IQ. It is just a number derived from a series of tests. I prefer to just use the word intelligence. I feel it varies from person to person, interest, and chosen vocation. Example: The guys downstairs rebuilding my kitchen right now are geniuses and I am an idiot. I can give then a lesson in organic chemistry and the table will turn. Sometimes when I am here, some folks will talk about quotes from authors I have never heard of and have no interest in. An uncaring idiot. I think you get the point.

Thank you for your reply. I do not get your point so  you thought wrong. Here is what I KNOW FOR SURE. EVERYONE is excellent at some things, mediocre at some things and lousy at some things. They are just different things. Which means WE ARE ALL AVERAGE so those who brag about being a Mensa member and their high IQ 's show their stupidity in my opinion. I don't know if you get my point but here it is..I am a non-liker of braggarts. Always have been, am now and always will be. I think they show their stupidity because real intelligence doesn't have to be advertised. Intelligent people do not have to blow their own horns. Others do it for them. It just is. People know when they are talking to someone who is smart and they also know when they are talking to some who is all show no know or go. That I know for sure. Thank you for your reply. Remember, the world is run by the "C" students.

And why is that IQ test so important to you? IQ tests were specifically dreamt up to show that black people weren't as smart as white people. They were, and continue to be VERY culturally/racially biased. What does that say about the people that do your thinking for you? Indeed, you are correct about the original reason for the test.

I took the skid row IQ test and I totally failed. Not very adept at scamming people.
