That's the wrong kinda critter though, for SHORN. Are you just trying to pull the old WOOL over someone's eyes, trying to get their GOAT? Or are you trying to convince us that that really is a member of the Ovis aries family of ruminants, trying th RAM the whole idea down our collective throats? Either way you should be feeling pretty SHEEPISH about the whole thing . . . .
I was just talking with someone about this the other day because they criticized the fact that my kids argue with me. I politely explained that I've raised them that way intentionally. If I teach them submissiveness as children, that's how they'll be as adults. I don't want my kids being sheep. I want them to be critical thinkers and vocal leaders.
Even still, there is a time to be a follower. Everyone must follow someone. There is not a single person on this planet who is an expert in all things. When no harm will come of being a sheep, it's important to step back and let someone else lead. Knowing when to lead, and knowing when to follow, and being diplomatic about things- they're equally important.
Didn't even think about that but since the untimely death of Professor Irwin C Corey, the World's Foremost Authority (passed away in February at the youthful age of 102) you're the only one left! Please be careful out there.
