Isn't that the site where everyone's some kind of fish? Are they really still talking about AB? The new version is such a disaster, I can't imagine there being much to say beyond that.

Actually, the posts I saw about AB date back to c. 2009. And here's what they say about the name: "Where did we get the name? A fluther is a group of jellyfish, like a gaggle of geese or a run of salmon. “Fluther” is pronounced /'flʌ ðɚ/, and rhymes with “brother” and “mother”." Never heard of it.  I'm hoping I'll have a real life soon and I won't need to be visiting web sites any more.

Yes, a while back after ABag did an large reformat, changed the whole look and took away the points etc, people got mad and left. A lot of us did go to Fluther forba little bit but most got over it and went back to AB.

I remember that site! Is it one that shut down or did I just completely forget about it until now? I can't quite remember where I used to hang out before I built a new nest here.

I used to hang out at fluther.com and I thought it was a remarkably unfriendly bunch. They constantly challenged each other's opinions. Once I said a mother is responsible to teach her kids social customs and good manners, and the response was "Oh yeah? What's your source?" Eventually they ganged up on me and I stopped going there and found answerbag. AB only has a half dozen members, although it seems like more because they pull questions out of the archive and repost them. One member scolded me because I didn't ask questions, and three more ganged up on me because they didn't like my style of answers, so I haven't been back there for a while. Q&A forums are becoming a thing of the past because they attract people who offend each other. I had almost a half million answers at YA when the mods decided they didn't like me and banned me permanently. They didn't even try to explain what it was about.
