Some rights are more equal than others. I am told you are allowed the right of free exercise of religion.  This post was edited by Malizz at October 12, 2017 2:55 AM MDT

All depending on the controlling authorities.

Judges are selected according to whether their views align with those in power, and modify free speech rights accordingly. Ditto with platform denials.

If those in charge don't like any particular peaceful protest, they can always send in the newly militarised heavy mobs, sometimes counterproductively.

It can depend on whether your right is infringing on the rights of others to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

    Wrong, again!

The Constitution doesn't grant ANY Rights to the People, only to the government. The People are already endowed with all possible Rights by their creator, those "inalienable" Rights. It's up to the People to also grant some of those Rights, and infringement of some, to the government, for the "general Welfare" of the People; that "governed by and with the consent of the governed" thing. (I'm guessing that the left is opaque to that concept?) Any of those Rights enjoyed by the people can only be suspended with that consent. The Bill of Rights (and several Amendments that follow) reaffirms that, spells out in no uncertain terms that the government cannot move to take away, to infringe upon, certain Rights that our Founding Fathers found to be of paramount importance.

As to the importance of Rights . .  .they're ALL equally important. The only (unwritten) infringement is that "your" Rights end where "my" Rights begin. This post was edited by Salt and Red Pepper at October 12, 2017 2:29 PM MDT
