It's the PPACA, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, not the AHCA. And remember, it does NOTHING to make actual healthcare "affordable". (If you think it does then please show some examples.)
And why are you concerned? I seem to remember that you're somewhere north of 65. Aren't you a Medicare beneficiary? The PPACA should barely affect you, if at all.
But ain't it great? All the efficiency of the Motor Vehicle Administration with all the compassion of the collections folks at the Internal Revenue Service.
But it has cut my healthcare bills, to 0. At first I couldn't afford the co-pays after I paid the monthly premiums. Then, after the first price hikes of over 40% I couldn't even afford the monthly premiums. Now a lot of folks I know are in that same boat and have a somewhat different healthcare plan. If they become grievously ill they're going to take out a Congressman, or two. That way they'll be sent to Federal prison where they'll receive actual, top-notch medical care and not some high-priced, useless health insurance plan.
Good times, huh?
Oh, and by the way, it's killing itself fiscally, rapidly running out of other peoples' money. Well over half of the state exchanges have already gone toes-up. And of the ones remaining, except for the "special" heavily-subsidized one set up for members of Congress and their staffs, the one with the Unatainium (for we commoners) plans available at "Bronze" pricing levels, most insurers have already dropped out. Trump has nothing to do with any of that.
