I like both, but generally go with patties because I like the hot sausage and I also use it in things like chili sometimes.

I've always wanted to buy one of each, then weigh them on one of those food scales.

Why? Because in order to enjoy that link or patty an animal has to live it's life in a slaughterhouse, not see the light of day it's entire life sometimes and die a horrible death. Enjoy.
Also that link or patty is filled with cancer-ridden elements like nitrates. Just for the icing on the patty.
"cancer ridden" makes no sense. Chemical compounds don't carry cancer. And it is Nitrites. And it hasn't been proven other than by the media. Sorry Sharon...I couldn't pass on this one. Chide me if you wish.
