Haven't read that novel or the series. Googled it. Looks like a very successful version of the fantasy genre. Enthusiasts would love it. There are people who read fantasy here. If they don't happen to see your question, ask it again sometime. All depends on whose online when. For about 15 years I read heaps of fantasy and sci-fi until I'd exhausted everything in the second hand shops. Then started reading what people call "literature" and now I'm hooked.
