As a government employee, my job on paper was protect the environment from destructive development projects. This was in the best interest of the general population in this country. Instead, it turned out I that I was fighting government corruption as valuable, irreplaceable natural resources were sacrificed to economic development projects. I lost that battle and the best interest of a minority of the well-to-do was served using tax payer money. I did my best to do for this country. The government wouldn't have it.
