General Kelly said he was STUNNED that the Congresswoman made the discussion about herself. Doesn't he know for whom he works?

The Donald John makes everything about himself. I think General Kelly didn't think this attack of the Congresswoman and defense of the Donald John through else he wouldn't have said the things he did.

And what do you base that assessment on?

Nothing but her biased agenda, I'm sure.

  • I'm guessing Trump did say the words that the Congresswoman and the bereaved mother said he said, and chose those words due to Kelly's advice.
But I reckon Trump's typical style of delivery would have had a different tone to Kelly's,
and therefore would come across with an entirely different meaning to the women who heard it.
To them it would have sounded like, "more fool your son for choosing such a dangerous occupation - it's no different to suicide -if you're upset now that he's dead it only proves how unrealistic your expectations were. You should have known better the moment he joined up."
Trump did not say that - but his tone of voice is often incongruent with the content of what he says, so if the words are ambiguous, it's easy for the meaning to be mistaken.
His record of lack of sympathy for Black Americans may have contributed to the impression. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 20, 2017 5:38 PM MDT

The mother is BEREAVED, not berieved. Spellcheck is your friend - use it.

  • Ha, Ha!
Unfortunately "berieved" is a word meaning "under attack", so my spell checker didn't pick it up.
    I did actually mean bereaved.
Thank you for pointing out my mistake.

Actually, I don't believe "berieved" is an actual word.
