  • Nah , I don't think it is eavesdropping ... the first Q&A site I was ever on had no way to private message. I like when convo's are out in open. I think it adds flavour to sites like these which is why I rarely PM. If it's on main board is fair game , cos I said so :) i have also heard some people don't like my banter on this site.... to those I say I'm sorry... and suck it up buttercups ;)

    If you invade it is not eavesdropping.

    If you join in the comment exchage we could call it an invasion, just without the negative connotations. You are most velcome .

    Everyone is welcome to join-in and comment on any thread.
    Only once did I see someone object, and that seemed churlish to the other participants.
    It's only private when you're chatting or messaging.
