I would call it increased adherence to strict constitutional principles (freedom of thought and speech) as you have so consistently advocated here on AM

    Congratulations .

Really JakobA? You congratulate me for stating the obvious repeatedly? Wow. Thank you for your kind response. I appreciate it! The people who so ardently defend standing for the Anthem and saying the Pledge of Allegiance think they are patriots. In fact they are the opposite because they are defending ignoring/abrogating a Constitutional Right which they know but don't care a rat's a** about apparently. The current protest is about racial injustice. The countless unarmed young  black men who are killed/murdered by cops. The cops walk/are exonerated. The details of the kill/murder don't matter. Well these protesters can only take so much before they have to do something. What they chose to do was kneel on a football field during the playing of the national anthem. They did not choose to riot or destroy property or set fire to buildings or attack people. For that assertion of their CONSTITUTIONAL right The Donald John called them SOB's and wanted them fired! The Donald John  swore to protect and defend the Constitution. He is attacking it. Millions of people support him in that. Which is very disappointing and shocking to me and others like me who notice and care. That's it. That's the whole nine yards. I hope your country is run by someone who fulfills whatever oaths are required and doesn't just pay lip service to them while publicly sabotaging them!  Woe is us! Thank you for your reply JakobA and Happy Sunday.

  • Are we talking about actual racism/bigotry being enabled and emboldened? Or, are we talking about racism/bigotry as you so adroitly misapply it? Your perception of racism/bigotry as a knee jerk response to everything contrary to your viewpoint does not fit in with the practice of these very negative actions and attitudes. I sense that your use of the terms is a gasping and grasping search for some weapon to use against opposition. That, my friend is intolerance and it simply doesn't belong in discussions requiring truth as a foundation.

And your premise is wrong, as usual.
