How does cracking down on opiode distribution networks help people already hooked up on it?

Do they just suffer withdrawal and die?

  • It doesn't. It can help people from getting addicted in the first place, but treating those who are already addicted is a closely related but ultimately separate issue.

  • Depends on which opioid or opiate and the degree of addiction. Cracking down on the distribution or production will never stop it ever, it will raise the price, force cutting with dangerous substances more and inevitably do more harm.
