'Zat right.. I tried to swallow a gob of peanut butter one time and it stuck in my throat almost blocking my windpipe. Had to swallow some water slowly to wash it down.
Aside from being too expensive (they have to add the cost of the body repair work to repair the car to the cost of the dinner), I suspect that venison is far too lean for someone with a swallowing disorder to choke down, even with red currant sauce (which is damned good with wild boar too). I've always had to mix some pork or beef with my venison to make good "deer bologna".
On the other side of that coin our "friends" at Arby's are now selling venison sandwiches; Red deer from New Zealand. (Native Whitetail and Mule aren't available for commercial sales in the USA). If it's real it will be the first meat product that Arby's will have on the menu (I've tried Arby's and I don't care what they say, it ain't meat!)
