How long has House of Cards been around? Why did the molested folks keep mum? Was the paycheck that important to them?

The first person molested should have YELLED out loud about it. So should everyone else the moment it happened! Why did they remain silent and accept it as part of the deal? I don't get it. Can someone explain it to me please?

I agree they should have spoken up, but I also understand why they didn't. They feared not being believed. And yes, they feared losing their jobs. The men accused of this are powerful men so women were afraid of the backlash by speaking out - the possible loss of their jobs, not being believed, and not being able to find future jobs in the same career because the trail that would be left, would follow them. They feel it's better to remain silent than to take those risks.

It's when ONE person is brave enough to stand up and speak out, that it gives others the courage to do the same.

KUDOS to that one brave person then! Bravo! Money can buy anything including silence. That is for those to whom money is important enough to accept being treated as worthless trash which is exactly how the molested/sexually abused are treated. They are there for the pleasure of their abusers and for no other reason. Why anyone would tolerate that for an instant let alone years is something I cannot fathom.
