I've bought that CD twice at least, I wore it out.

Maybe I will pick that one too.
    Or this one.

Which one? I couldn't tell, on my screen, which CD you're mentioning.
    :)

I replied too quickly. I see the Grateful Dead but were you mentioned a different one in the first part of your answer? This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at March 10, 2018 11:31 AM MST

That's because you did not let me finish.

So, I'm just being a posting fool, Welb.

I don't know a lot of The Grateful Dead, shame on me. I liked this song more and more as it went on. I've never heard it.

    It was OOOLLLDDD.

I have this kind of memory about it.  It was the first Grateful Dead song I had ever heard.  It was about 1967.   I was about 17.

I was new to freedom, never SMOKED marijuana or took any drug.  Was drunkish about maybe a handful of times.  Had just graduated and was meeting new people that were INTERESTING and new and not my age.

A little older but not weird older. A few years older and brothers of my best friends.   So, they turned me on to weed after responsibly making sure that we knew everything about it for months beforehand.

    They were responsible and family.

So, I got stoned.   The first album I heard was Led Zepplin.  That was the first psychelic sounds to waft through the air in Northlake Illinois.  We were the first Hippies back then in the Chicago area.

There were a few of us and they kept coming and growing.

So, the second album I heard was the Dead, this album and this song contains all the great elements of hearing and history of that era.

The music was mind blowing.  So was the LSD.

Oh yeah, and Dylan was in the Traveling Willburys.

99's choice. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at March 10, 2018 5:45 PM MST
