The Donald John is SO concerned about the mental health of mass murderers. Bullsh**! He signed a bill to let the mentally ill BUY GUNS. WHY?
He signed that bill early on when he put his big boy pants on. If it is mental illness that causes mass murderers to mass murder WHY IN THE HE** would The Doofus Don make it easier for them to access guns? Anyone?
No, he signed a bill that prevented someone from loosing their 2nd amendment rights over not being able to handle a checkbook or remember to pay their bills on time. Those who had a "representative payee"....alone without a hearing or anything else proving they were not fit to have a firearm. Peope under this law were not notified and were not allowed to contest it before their 2nd amendment rights were removed.
"Mentally ill" is a poorly defined term. 20% of Americans take a psychiatric drug. Many more have had issues at some point in the past and have a question mark against them.
It's unacceptable that large proportions of the population lose their rights to disarm the small fraction of 1% who are actually a danger to others. Especially since the people who really are a danger will get a gun illegally anyway.
