Unfortunately, we're stuck with Bill Di Blasio again.  Yuck!

Never heard anything about it. We could still have the same mayor since 1894 for all I know.

I was watching a youtube vid. A kid from Canada had a 'Ten reasons you don't want to move to Canada' list. It was shortly after trump's election.  He said Vancouver was the best place in Canada to get drugs. Hell, I don't know and really...who cares?

No, we have Bill De Blasio for another four years. He got more than 66% of the vote, partly because he wasn't challenged by anyone of consequence. The Republican candidate, Nicole Malliotakis, received less than 28%. When NYC has a strong Democrat running, the GOP doesn't try very hard and offers only token opposition. In 1985, when Ed Koch (a Democrat) was running for his third term at the height of his popularity, they didn't even put forth their own nominee and just cross-endorsed Koch.

Sounds like our Congresswoman, Marcy Kaptur. She doesn't even campaign anymore. Nobody will oppose her as she is well liked and respected by both her constituants and Congress. She is also a champion Gerrymanderer.
