For a Trump supporter that seems to have been enough.
The problem however, is that when that particular species of pond scum is also devoid of ethics, morals, and good judgment, there is nothing to guarantee that he will contribute anything of value during his reign.
That was true during the election. I had people try to use that logic to get me to vote for Clinton...go with the Devil you know. I told them I would vote Trump if he turns out to really still be the Dem he once was then he will be sent home in 2020. As least this way, I have a shot at what I want. So far I am happy with President Trump but not so much with Congressional Republicans.

Lower taxes--- for the rich; better trade deals---yet to be seen; conservative judges---the standard should be better judges; border security---with a wall than can be climbed, tunneled under, or flown over (all of which are currently being done. And of course there is the deleterious effect land-based wildlife).
A person's judgment is only as good as one's information. I do wonder how much information you actually have at your disposal and the principles by which you evaluate that information. Appearances can be quite deceiving unless one actually understand the reality beneath the appearances.
Taxes are being lowered for all. I do have an issue with the elimination of the personal exemptions. But still overall it is still a deduction. We have already pulled out of TTP...that is better. Yes we have more to improve or remove. You have your standard I have mine. Personally, I would put Ted Cruz on the SCOTUS. So how to you suppose to fix the border or are you one of those open border types?
I agree immigration has to be controlled / regulated. Certainly no one has thought of a foolproof method yet, but why build more of something that has already shown itself to be easily circumvented.
Yet, there are over 60 countries currently building or have already built border walls for the same reason....so evidently it is the best way even if not perfect.

Yes, border walls can be climbed over. They're just symbolic. Though the same is true of so many things. We lock our doors, though everyone knows that any thief who really wants to get in will get in. Locking up your house still has value, because no trespasser can ever say that the door was open.
The purpose of a border wall is so that WHEN it is circumvented we have increased moral authority to declare that someone has violated the border contemptuously and kick them out.
