Not literally instance by instance. But, yes. The names and places may change, but the reasons for war? Always the same. Always ego. Always us against them for stupid reasons like disagreements in behavior, religion etc.

Yes, the ruling classes ALWAYS use their power and money to gain ever more power and money. This inevitably leads to disenfranchisement of the lower classes, rebellion, and destruction of the existing class structure and/or that civilization.
