Some folks always outwardly support a rigid ideology no matter what they really think. They are afraid to do otherwise. Are you one of them or are you brave? Do you follow your conscience 24/7?

It does amaze me to read someone that is so unyielding to anything outside their ideology especially something like politics.  I do respect that some people are very committed to a religious faith where compromising on their beliefs may not be possible.  Of course I will probably never take them on in a discussion where in my view, things are not always so black and white.

I always go off my conscience, I don't know if that's bravery but it to me is just being able to be honest with yourself.

My consicence and reality are are frequently incongruent but I have a brain that can weigh out the consequences or advantages of my subsequent actions.

Follow conscience.  Always have, always will.  I don't like ulcers.

If I don't follow my conscience then it badgers/goads/scolds/hammers away at me so it's just easier on me to do/say what seems right and makes sense.  Thank you for your reply Sharonna!  :)
