    Perhaps a woman who takes her marriage vows seriously and believes in forgiveness. Not everyone walks away from things without trying to fix them.

      There's not just "one kind" of woman who makes either of those two decisions; staying and/or continuing to love such a man. Various women, or more accurately, various kinds of women for various reasons do it. They cannot be lumped into a single category, can't be pigeon-holed, can't be generalized the way your question puts it.
