Or beavers. Closest we have is a wombat.

I heard you don't have squirrels over there too. I think in my next life..  I'm meant to live in Australia or New Zealand. 

We have massive spiders, poisonous snakes, octopi, jellyfish, stonefish, great white sharks, crocodiles ... but no squirrels. Possums and sugar gliders, we have.

I am aware .. I'm not afraid of snakes , spiders , jelly fish or  any animal really ... only squirrels.

Sugar glider never held me hostage in the shipping office of an import / export office while I was doing customs paper work and had to pee... they are fine.  

How could a squirrel hold you hostage? They're tiny. Kick it outta the way if you have to.

I'm not joking this ... my first job was do customs at a warehouse I was alone a lot there... was big empty warehouse of site off main place I worked for... I would get bagel on way to work.. they would give me peanut butter for bagel but I never used it.. so I started feading that peanut butter to a squirrel that was living in wharehouse... then I stopped getting bagels .. so no peanut butter. I left my office one day walk to washroom and that faaaking squirrel stared me down ... I ran back in office ... shut the door and squirrel stood outside office staring at me through window... I called my boss in tears said a grizzly Squirll is holding me hostage in my office and I really have to pee .. then i never live that down..
